Background size image

Question:

I am concerned about image sizes for the main page. I am wondering if you can give me a figure for the sizes.

 

Answer:

There is no specific size for the Background images because they will cover the size of the parent element - and the background image will be positioned at the center.

Better not to put any readable text that rely on image size since the parent element changes its width depending on the device that your website is viewed.

Example, for desktop, your background image will be viewed as a landscape image, but on mobile, it will be viewed as portrait. If you rely on the image being only viewable on landscape, with text and other elements, then some elements will not be viewable once the user changes the device to mobile, since the viewport is now on landscape.

Which is why when using background images, do not add text that is only viewable on landscape view.
