Enabling Custom Domain

Question:

I can't set custom domain according to your manual. Please advise me.

Answer:

Here are the requirements before you proceed on enabling the custom domain feature for your MMIO e-Com store:

1.) You must already have a registered Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN).

2.) Update your domain's DNS records:

You can do any of the two options below:

Option A: Change CNAME record (Recommended)

You can update your CNAME record by pointing it to our domain “marketingmasterio.net

See set-up below for Main domain and Sub-domain

For Main Domains: (e.g. myshopph.com)

marketingmasterio.net

For Sub-domains:  (e.g. mysubdomain.myshopph.com)

Option B: Change Nameservers

Here's an example how to change nameservers on Godaddy.com

3.) DNS propagation must be completed.

  • Whenever you change your domain's DNS records, it must be also updated worldwide. This update process is what we call “DNS Propagation”. This process usually takes 4 to 48 hours after changing the DNS record.

If you want to check the status of your DNS Propagation, you can use tools like ? DNS Propagation CHECKER

You would know that the DNS Propagation is finished once all location is resolved.
